European Day of Languages prize winners

Well done to everyone who entered into the competition and quizzes last week. Especially well done to our prize winners: Becky (Osprey), Adam (Osprey), Samuel (Eagle) in Key Stage 2 and Oliver (Hedgehog), Britney (Badger) and Amber (Badger) in KS1. Becky heard 24 members of staff speaking a total of 13 different languages - ¡Estupendo!

European Day of Languages is here again...

Welcome to a new term and ¡Hola! to Spanish in Key Stage 2! Next week is European Day of Languages. Look out for a competition in school on Wednesday(after our Inset days) which will involve lots of staff members, and why don't you have a go at a quiz? Prizes to be won...

Good luck - ¡Suerte!

My display board is in 'languages today'!

Well I have to start somewhere, so here's a picture of the display in school we did for European Day of Languages, 26 September. Two members of staff won prizes for speaking 4 languages on the day, and pupils made 130 minibooks. 'Languages Today' magazine asked if they could print a piece about our activities in their publication, so we're quite proud of ourselves. Well done all!
